Sony and Valve announced a partnership that will allow gamers to purchase any game on the PlayStation 4 through Steam. The move means PC exclusivity is coming to an end, allowing for more games to be purchased digitally instead of physically. How this impacts the gaming industry in the long run remains unclear but it’s unlikely Sony won’t become even bigger than its already massive competitor, Microsoft.
The “playstation and steam are partnering” is a recent development that has some people excited. Playstation is getting a lot more serious about Steam releases.
