Windows 10 is a new operating system by Microsoft. It features many changes to the Windows interface, including some that are controversial for old users of previous versions. We will downgrade from windows 11 to windows 10 as long as you can keep your data backed up in one place before upgrading.,
Windows 10 is the latest operating system from Microsoft. If you are not satisfied with Windows 10 and want to downgrade back to Windows 10, there are a few ways that can be done.
If you have a recent computer that came pre-installed with Windows 11 but prefer Windows 10, this article will show you how to downgrade Windows 11 to Windows 10.
If you recently upgraded to Windows 11 and want to revert to Windows 10, you have ten days to do so. If you’re inside that time frame, you may roll back the Windows 11 upgrade using my methods.
Downgrading from Windows 11 to Windows 10 will, unfortunately, need a complete reinstallation of Windows 10, the restoration of any personal data, and the reinstallation of any required apps.
The good news is that you’ll be able to finally uninstall all of the unnecessary software that was pre-installed on your computer.
WARNING! You must first have a complete, functional backup of all your data! Because we’re installing Windows 10 from scratch, we’re practically overwriting everything on your hard drive. When utilizing the Reset this PC or current downgrading option offered above, do not trust the “Save Your Data” function. In the past, it hasn’t worked for me (luckily I had a full backup).
Begin the Windows 11 to Windows 10 downgrade by going to Microsoft’s Download Windows 10 website. Click the “Get tool now” option under the “Create Windows 10 installation media” section to download the MediaCreationTool.
When asked with the “Do you wish to allow this program to make modifications to your device?” pop-up, click “Yes.” Open and execute the MediaCreationTool. Then, to agree to the Terms and Conditions, click “Accept” (but only if you agree of course, but who reads those things anyway). Of course, installing Windows 10 using a bootable USB device is also an option. If you want to reinstall Windows 10 on several devices, this is the best option since you only have to download it once.
After a few seconds, the “Getting a few things ready” box will appear, and you may pick “Upgrade this PC now” and click “Next.” In the background, the newest version of Windows 10 will be downloaded. Once you’ve finished, click “Next” and then “Accept” in the next window.
Make sure you pick “Nothing” from the “Choose what to keep” box, then “Next” again. Make sure you have a complete and up-to-date backup of your data and application installation files once again. The “Ready to install” window should now appear. To begin the procedure, click the “Install” button, but be warned: there is no turning back now!
After that, you’ll need to go through the basic PC setup procedure as if you’re using your computer for the first time. Then, using your functioning backup, restore your data and reinstall any apps that need to be reinstalled. You should now be able to downgrade from Windows 11 to Windows 10 successfully.
You have 10 days to roll back the upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 11 if you used Windows Update. Otherwise, you’ll have to downgrade to Windows 10 using the steps outlined above.
To undo the Windows 11 upgrade, launch the Windows 11 Settings app (press the Windows+i keys to activate it), then choose “System,” then “Recovery.”
Then go for the section on Recovery Options. There should be a “Go back” button under this section (if available). To revert to Windows 10, click the Revert to Windows 10 button.
